Located on the shores of Lake Norman, the largest inland lake in the Carolinas and just north of Charlotte NC, the Peninsula Yacht has approximately 950 members and offers an exciting package of opportunities for boating, leisure, and recreation.

The Peninsula Yacht Club Amenities:

The Peninsula Yacht club Marina has 405 Slips, ranging from 25-45 feet in length. Each slip is equipped with water and electricity hookups, a locker box, and larger slips have wiring for cable and telephone. Pump-out, fuel dock, and shower facilities are also available. Not to mention an outstanding Marina Staff to assist any members on the docks.
The Peninsula Yacht Clubhouse features a full service dining room, lounge, and expansive patio where the emphasis is on casual good times and good food. The Clubhouse is ideal for business meetings and special occasions such as weddings, meetings or family gatherings.
Members can choose from two private event rooms, and the incredible landscaped lakeside event lawn - the perfect setting for your next special event!

For Corporate Meetings the Library or The Commodore’s Room, equipped with telephone service and WIFI internet access, are excellent spaces! They can seat 40-50 people for lunch or dinner.

The use of the entire Peninsula Yacht club is also a possible on Monday or Tuesday evenings, for events that would exceed $2,500 in food and beverage.
The Peninsula Yacht club Pool is perfect for a quick dip! The Yacht club pool is also the perfect place to meet new fellow members or just a great place to watch your children make a splash in the pool.

About the Membership

Members of The Peninsula Yacht Club will have the opportunity to choose from two classifications of membership: The Yacht Membership and the Social Membership.

The Yacht Membership: Yacht Club Members at the Peninsula Yacht Club will not only have full usage of the Club for themselves, but this privilege is also extended to their families. They will have the exclusive use of a designated slip at the marina and will also be entitled to use all of the social facilities at the Club.

The Social Membership: Social members are entitled to use of all the Social Facilities of the Club. Like the Yacht Membership, a Social Membership carries family privileges.

The Reciprocity advantage

The Peninsula Yacht Club has a reciprocity agreement with more than 600 yacht clubs in the United States, Hawaii, the Virgin Islands and Alaska through the Register of American Yacht Clubs.

Through a special reciprocal agreement with clubs at other Crescent Communities, members of The Peninsula Yacht Club are entitled to use certain amenities at Ballantyne Country Club in south Charlotte and The Point Lake and Golf Club in Mooresville.*(Certain special rules, fees and restrictions apply.)
